Andie’s Bridal Shower!!!

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with all the planning that takes place at bridal showers I have attended, and how lucky I have been to photograph them.

Andie’s Shower was no exception her Bridal Shower took place at her aunt’s beautiful home. The décor was just to die for; the perfect combination of pink and brown made everything look elegant and feminine.
Andie had a crepe station and a beautiful display of cakes and desserts.
I also loved her twist on the make a wedding dress out of toilet paper game. The three participants became runaway brides for the first place price!!!

Andie and I share the same Peruvian nationality and I want to say ‘thank you’ to her and her family for the warm welcome into their home.

Andie, I wish you the best in your upcoming wedding which will no doubt be an incredible event. Enjoy!!!

Angelina First Birthday!!!!

Time sure does fly; it feels like it was yesterday I was covering Gretel’s Baby Shower.
Gretel did an amazing job planning Angelina’s party. She had a jumpy-jumpy, ice cone machine, an older kid station for them to play, cup cakes, gift bags for the kids, a beautiful cake and my personal favorite A COTTON CANDY MACHINE!!!
I have a fascination for cotton candy. Lol!!!

The buffet was full of delish food and after satisfying the appetite, dancing could never be missed on one of Gretel’s parties.
Everyone was so happy at Angelina’s birthday party, but there were also some emotional moments as her grand parents expressed the immeasurable love they feel for her and
Gretel remembered the journey of Angelina’s life ‘til now and the excitement for what’s to come.
Angelina is a little beauty; she was kissing and blowing kisses to all the little boys at the party. Gretel and Angel are going to have to be very vigilant in the future with those boys. Lol!
Enjoy the photos and the last photo is at the end of the party. The party proof to be too much excitement for Angelina; nap time please!!!
Enjoy them!!!

Missy’s Baby Shower!!!

I was so excited when Chrissy, Missy’s sister, asked me to cover her sister’s baby shower.
That was a few months back, so Chrissy and I have been exchanging emails back and forth and had set the date for October 6th. On October 4th Missy writes saying ‘I can’t wait to see you next Saturday!!!!’ As soon as I read that, I was like, ‘NEXT SATURDAY!!!! Not THIS Saturday, in two days??? I rushed to get my appointment book and YES! I got her down for the 6th. Thinking that Missy was mistaken at first, I called Chrissy and asked her if she had changed the date, oh no, she had!!! I was already booked for the 13th, so I offered for Favio to cover the event. After all, not because he is my dear husband, but he was there with me and did an amazing job for Chrissy’s bridal shower and wedding in Punta Cana as well.
Wohoo, Favio saved the day!!!

Missy was kept in the dark about the details of the baby shower, and being the perfectionist that she is, she was having a little trouble with it. Lol. Missy was only told the date and that is all!!! A total surprise!!!!
Chrissy did a great job with the planning starting with the theme which was SWEETS, SWEETS AND MORE SWEETS!!!! You can’t go wrong with that!
Favio had a great time with Missy and her family.
He was so amazed by all the gifts Missy got!!! He reminded me his birthday is coming up soon, lol.

Enjoy the photos!!!

Thank you Meli and Augi!!!

So, I was just sitting here having fun selecting my favorite photos from an engagement session, when Favio hands me an envelope and says, ‘It’s from Meli.’
Well, the first thing I notice is the stamp. I LOVE IT!!!!! It was a photo I took of them on Meli’s Bridal Shower.
I open the card, I see these beautiful flowers on the card and I can’t help but just smile. Underneath the flowers ‘Thanks a bunch!’ written on the card!
I hadn’t even read the inside of the card and Meli had already made my day! I proceeded to read what she wrote and my smile got bigger and bigger.

I would have never thought that people would be thanking me for what I love to do and I want to say thank you back not only to Meli, but to all the ladies that email me with the most amazing words of thanks and appreciation to my craft. I truly LOVE IT!!!!!

Meli, thanks again for making my day. Your thank you card could not have come at a better time; it was the perfect introduction to your Bridal Shower slideshow.
I hope you enjoy it!
I had a blast!!!!

Jeannine's Bridal Shower!!!

I am back from Orlando and so ready to share with you my latest teasers.
I am glad I had time to work on my laptop on the way there and back and I want to thank my husband Favio for putting up with my ‘Not so fast’ and ‘slow down’ throughout the whole trip. Lol!

This time is Jeannine’s turn. Her mom and sister outdid themselves with all the planning that must have taken to host this amazing Coed Bridal Shower for Jeannine. All I have to say is: South Florida Ladies sure know how to plan a Bridal Shower!!!!

Jeannine, I know we didn’t have that much time to chat, but like I said before, you looked beautiful and I am happy to see that you and your fiancé had such a great time.
By the way everyone loved the Polaroid idea!!!

Please visit the following link for a teaser gallery.
Enjoy!

BELLA BARKED FOR THE CURE!!!

On Saturday Favio, Bella (fur-baby) and I went for our second walk for MAKING STRIDES Against Breast Cancer. We are making it a yearly family event to help raise money for the cure. Breast cancer has had a personal impact in my life; my mom is a 12 year breast cancer survivor. It feels great to help raise money for a cure to spare another person from going through what I went through when my mom discovered a lump in her breast.

For all the moms, wives, sisters, daughters and friends that are going through this, I know it’s the biggest battle of your life, but stay positive, we will continue to raise money for a cure.

Here are some photos from the event. Well, mainly of Bella, who was doing her part by barking, walking and running for the cure. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, there was a great turnout for the event and there were plenty of fur-babies also barking for the cure throughout the whole walk.

Let’s make MAKING STRIDES Against Breast Cancer a family event every year and help defeat breast cancer.

What a weekend!!!!!

I have had a super busy weekend and I can’t wait to start posting about it.

Just to give you a little an idea of what I did, let me just tell you that I went to the MAKING STRIDES Against Breast Cancer walk, had 2 very sexy boudoir sessions, a family party, a dance until you drop coed bridal shower and a couple of personal projects. WOW!!! That’s a lot!!!! :)

I am going out of town tomorrow morning for a few days, but don’t worry, I will be checking my email. I will start posting some teasers as soon as I can.

I now leave you with Jessi’s bridal shower slideshow. I showed it to her 3 weeks ago and I haven’t had a chance to put it on my blog. Bad Carmen!!! :)
I am super excited, I can't wait to shoot their upcoming wedding this month.
