Happy Valentine’s Day!!! Miami Boudoir Photographer

I hope everyone is having a great Valentine’s Day ;)
I have spent most of the day reading at all your entries and many of you have brought me to tears with your responses. I anticipated many entries from brides to be, but I was happily surprised to receive just as many entries from married ladies and moms. YOU GO LADIES!!!!
It has been incredibly difficult to select one winner, so I selected a winner and a runner up.

And the sexiest ladies are: Valerie and Erica as a runner up!!!

I wanted to give thanks to all the ladies that participated in the contest, and for thinking about your significant other in such an open and deep way. Valentine’s should not be just about dinner, flowers or gifts, but about letting each other know how the other person makes us feel. I encourage all of you ladies to read your entries to your boyfriends, fiancés or husbands and perhaps make it a yearly tradition. I truly could not imagine a better gift.

I Love Studio by Carmen - Contest Winner!!!

I would like to thank everyone that entered the contest for their very creative entries; I loved every single one of them!!! There were some very unique and creative shots submitted and it made it very hard for me to choose a winner. With that being said, I could not decide between my first and second choice since one of them had a very creative way to show the love to our studio and the other had a very unique location at the Mall of America. Therefore, I decided to make both of them Winners!!!

Questions regarding ‘I Love Studio by Carmen’ contest!!!

Last week, I started to get really excited when I started getting some photos for the contest I am currently running.


Some of you had questions regarding how many photos you can submit. I decided that you can submit up to 3 photos per entry; one entry per household please. Lol. I always wanted to say that.


I have also been asked if I can give a discount for small events and the answer is YES!!!! I will give a significant discount to any small event like bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, baby showers or birthday parties. Please email me for more details.

It’s contest time!!!

It’s Contest Time!!!

We are nearing our 1 month of my new website and to celebrate, Studio by Carmen is giving away an Editorial Style portrait session. Come on Ladies I know you want a boudoir, engagement, or maybe a trash the dress session!!!

HOW IT WORKS: I want you to go out there and go wild!!! Show your love for Studio by Carmen by taking a photo of yourselves in a really cool location and the only requirement is to have the phrase ‘I Love Studio by Carmen’ somewhere in the photo.

GO OUT THERE AND SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!

First, I wanted to thank all the ladies that enter the contest. It was a very tough decision I had to make, but after reading the essay part of the entries time and time again; I decided that Melissa was the perfect candidate for the session. Her essay was very heartfelt and her overall message is that women need to feel comfortable in their own skin and to embrace their bodies. Just by reading her entry I know that this will be a great shoot. And when she wrote “My future hubby would really appreciate it… I mean REALLY” You just gotta love that!!!
