What a couple!!! I can’t tell you what a great time Favio and I had with this beautiful couple; super easy going and soooo perfect for each other. We can’t wait for your wedding day, because I know it will be a blast!!
Here are just a couple of photos from their session. They both changed into other outfits, but unfortunately I can not show you those photos because of Emilio’s line of work. Let me just say they are the funniest!!!

I am on my way to my mom’s home after finishing my 7th boudoir from this weekend’s boudoir marathon!! Ladies I had a great time photographing all of you and I will try to get teasers out to you as soon as I can.
I am not a mom yet, but it is great to live a little of what it is to be a mom through the maternity and new born sessions I do. I know it is a lot of work to be a mom and life changes in an instant, but the rewards are many and I imagine just a smile from your little one makes it all worth it.
I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to my mommy, my sisters in law, aunts, cousins and all my fabulous mothers to be and moms that entrust me with their beautiful baby bumps and their little ones!!!

I promise I am catching up with all my session and soon I will be able to blog on a regular basis.

My brother and his family live in San Diego, Ca. So, I won’t be able to be with them on her special day, but I will get to see her (cross my fingers) in a couple of months! And again in October!!! YAY!!!
Lots of hugs and kisses to my favorite niece (I only have one, lol) I can’t wait to see pictures of her eating cake!!

I hope everyone is having a very nice Easter Weekend. I first wanted to thank you all for all the wonderful Birthday wishes!!! I have had a very wonderful celebration starting with 60 degree weather in New York. I didn’t take my long celebration (a must for me ;), because I want to keep in track with my clients delivery, but I already told Favio, he owes me those 2 weeks!

My lovely blog stalker Karen (lol, Luv you girl!), asked what’s up with my blog, so I decided to blog about one of my latest engagement sessions. Michele and David are from New York and are having a Destination Wedding in South Florida in a couple of months!!!

Long overdue blog!!! Yes, I know I am behind on blogging, but I am trying to catch up little by little.
Christina and Carlos are total party animals. How do I know? Because they told me they stay until the early hours of the morning partying like crazy!!! Not every weekend, but when they party, they go all out!!! We had a blast on their session; they even had an unexpected shot, compliments of the bartender, to keep on the party in our session!!! Wooohoo!!!!
I can’t wait for their wedding; no doubt the party will keep on going at a second location and until the next day!!! Christina, you are incredibly sweet and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the delicious mini cupcakes, (I ate them before I could take a photo, Lol) Love ya!!!

Nicole and Sam's Editorial Style Shoot in San Francisco!!! Wedding Photography San Francisco

Awww, I am so spoiled by my wonderful couples!!! I love it!!!!

THANK YOU Nicole and Sam for the beautiful flowers!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!
I went to San Francisco in December to do a boudoir Marathon for 5 wonderful ladies and Nicole ask me if I could do an editorial style shoot for her and her hubby Sam. I loved the idea so I immediately said ‘YES.’ I actually met Nicole for the first time when she hired me for a boudoir session on my first boudoir marathon to San Francisco. We had a blast on her session and Sam loved the photos!!!! I was soo excited to work with Nicole again and of course I was so looking forward to meet her Sam.
So far every time I have gone to SF it has been sooo cold, but we still have an awesome time visiting places and always find time to ride the trolley. Well this time I knew I shouldn’t have, but we rode the trolley on our first night there and of course we had to go standing at the end of it with our bodies dangling on the side of the trolley, the crisp and chilling air hitting our faces, so cold it hurt, but it is so much fun and I feel like a kid every time I do it!!!
Well, I got sick soon after :( but I took my cold medicine like crazy and we were ready to go for their shoot!! I finally met Sam and WOW, what a couple they make, fun, loving and silly at times. The best part to see is how attentive Sam is to Nicole and how he can loose himself just by looking at her! Their whole vibe was just wonderful and so much fun to photograph!!!
Thank you guys for letting capture your photos and for being so incredibly awesome in every way!!!
I wish we could've had time for some urban setting, but maybe next time ;)

Ursula and Eddie’s Wedding!

I think everyone knows I LOVE color. Don’t get me wrong, I love Black and White and it’s variations, but my ultimate love is color and the more the better!!!
I also LOVE the color red so imagine, this wedding was perfect just for that reason.
Who would want to have their furbaby during their getting ready? I would. He said a couple of Grrrrs, but all together behaved like a ‘good boy!’
Nothing more to ask but a perfect day for the Bride and Groom!!
Congratulations to both on a truly gorgeous wedding and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

As I heard a loud banging on my door, I thought to myself, “The prints are here already?”
I walked to the door and the loud banging continued and I thought, “Well the UPS guy is going to break the door!”
I opened the door and I see a lady holding a beautiful arrangement in front of me and I gasped with excitement!!! Of course the first thing I think is, my birthday? Anniversary? And I hardly hear the lady say, “Sign here please” and in a daze, I do just that.
I thank her and close the door and of course the first thing I do is read the card. Awwww, it from my weekend boudoir sexy ladies!!!!!! I had a huge smile and felt so blessed to have such wonderful clients.
I ran to take photos of the arrangement to thank J, J, K, D and R for the wonderful thought of the arrangement. I LOVE IT LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOUUUUU SOOO MUCH!!!! I am extremely happy that you love the experience. I had an amazing weekend shooting you all and I can’t wait for you to see your photos. Talk about HOT ladies!!!!
My stomach was hurting so much on Monday from laughing so hard during the sessions. Lol.

YAY!!! It’s time for Jeanelle’s Bridal Shower Teasers!!!
Jeanelle hired me over a year ago after she attended Christy’s Bridal Shower, who by the way is now pregnant!!! Congrats again Christy, you look terrific!!!

I always have an open heart when I go into my events and I definitely feed of the energy people give out and well, all I can say is: What beautiful women surrounded you on your bridal shower Jeanelle!!!
As soon as I got there I knew your shower was going to be a blast.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!

We had a great day photographing and celebrating Angelica and Charlie's wedding!!!

My favorite part of the day was no doubt their ceremony; which was held at St. Patrick's Church were Favio and I got married!! Yes, I am a little bias, but it is a gorgeous church and remembering those emotions we felt on the day of our own wedding thru their emotional mass, made for one of the most amazing and romantic Valentine's ever! Oh they got married at the same too 2:30pm! Awww. Ok, I am out of control, but I love it!

Thank you Angelica and Charlie for an amazing day and enjoy your honeymoon!!! I am sure you will be enjoying lots of hot chocolate!!

I am now relaxing with my hubby Favio eating some well deserved ice cream and watching TV. At least one of us is ;)

Bad Blogger but with good reason!!!

I know it's not an excuse, but I have been incredibly busy with weddings and boudoirs!!! Yes, it is February so imagine all the ladies that have contacted me at the last minute wanting to give their significant other a very sexy surprise. I am happy to see that not only brides to be are doing the sessions but also my Sexy Mrs and mommies!!!
See, that’s why I have being a bad blogger.
Thank you so much for the emails asking me if I am ok. I LOVE YOU my blog stalkers!!! Lol.

I also wanted to please ask you 2 little things. Please book with time if you would like me to be at your event. I get booked a year in advance for wedding and at least 3 months in advance for smaller events and portraits. Also, I wanted to ask you to please give me credit on the photo if you are going to use my photos on any public board, your own website, facebook, or in any internet site. I try to do the best job I can for every session and it’s just nice to be given credit on the photos.I am now including with the sessions, low resolution photos with my website address on them for internet use.

Now I leave you with an update on Baby Jonathan, whom i've been following his first year after his wonderful mommy, Mirielle, hired me to capture such an important part of his life.

My throat is still raspy from screaming and my right hand palm is tender from high fives, but OMG, I was biting my nails until the last second of the game and I can now proudly say, GATORS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!
I didn’t want to say anything before the game, but I knew SUPERMAN Tim Tebow would make it happen!!!!

I know I am kind of late in saying it, but can you blame me? I have been loving every minute in California. I am at the San Diego airport right now waiting for our flight. It will be an overnight flight, so I will be operational on Tuesday!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas!!! We are in San Diego with our entire family celebrating Christmas and I cannot tell you how many times I have cried already. I am a softy when it comes to seeing my family, especially my niece and nephews, they are so big!!!!

I also wanted to announce the fabulous couples who's destination wedding we will be shooting.

Congratulations, Brandee and Brad!!!! We can not wait to meet you and capture your special day!! They are getting married in Hawaii, which brings amazing memories from our honeymoon.

We also want to congratulate Mayda and Lester. Mayda's sister Karla wrote us an incredible letter. I wish I was there when Karla tells both of them that we will be shooting their wedding!!! Karla let me know their reaction! :)

They are getting married in their native country of Nicagua. Favio was born there and I can tell you by experience it is a beautiful country.

I wanted to thank everybody for their incredible letters. I wish I could have picked all of the couples!!!

I just saw it on a photographer’s blog in Cali and I almost peed in my pants. LOL.
This video is a HYSTERICALLY funny way of making fun of all of us ladies who have ever joined a message board.
I got married 4 years ago and I used to be an active member of a message board too. After the wedding, I felt like: and now what? I wanted to start planning something else! LOL! I was happy there were a lot of us on the same boat, so we went thru it together. My cyber friends are friends for life, but please don’t ask me to explain who they are to my non-cyber friends. Can you relate?
Anyway I thought it was AWESOME!!!!

Amanda and Greg’s Wedding!!!!

I am going to be as brief as I can about their AMAZING wedding!!!
I met Amanda for the first time when we met for her Boudoir photos. We had a great time and I couldn’t wait until her day was finally here. Amanda felt the nerves of anticipation on her wedding day and tears just made their course in multiple occasions; especially as her dad saw her for the first time and while exchanging vows.
Everything, starting from the location and to all the little details, was first class, which of course it did not surprise me. The Ritz Carlton had at least four people to Amanda’s disposal at all times!
Amanda, thru the tears, laughs and all the other emotions in between, your wedding will always hold a very important place in my heart. Thank you for been such an incredible bride!!!

GOOOO GATORS!!!!! Miami Wedding Photography

Favio and I are proud UF alumni and I don’t want to jinx it, but we are so close to a National Title!!!!!

Ok, so I have been wanting to blog about this since Alyse & Mike’s Wedding!
So, there we were having a great time shooting their wedding, btw the music selection was awesome!!! When all the sudden it was time for the garter, and what do we hear? You guessed it: the Seminole Fight Song!!! Now I must admit, it’s a great song, ok catchy at best (Ahhh, No, I didn’t just say that!!!!) Let me just cover myself, NOT BETTER THAN THE GATOR FIGHT SONG!!!! Lol.

Anyway, Favio and I looked at each other and were just mouthing GO GATORS!!!
AHHHH!!! To a die hard Gator this is the worst case scenario for us!!! So many Seminoles chanting and not being able to scream GO GATORS!! Lol.
I will tell you what I LOVED, was the intensity and pride I saw as they all chanted!!!

The real test came last Saturday, UF vs. FSU yearly war, where we were SCREAMING our hearts out GOOOO GATORS!!!! UF came on top against FSU, I won’t gloat on the score. Lol.

I told Alyse I was going to be blogging a photo today, but she may not like what I was going to be saying about it. Lol. She guessed what it was going to be about! It’s all in good fun of course and I do thank her for hiring Gators to cover their wedding!!! ;)

On a side note: I was listening to the Gator Fight Song while selecting their photos from the garter section of their wedding. Lol.

Intimate Maternity Session!

Yes, I do offer intimate maternity sessions in my studio; for yourself or with your significant other!!!
I have been receiving numerous requests for this kind of sessions, so why not? Intimate maternity sessions are inspired by my boudoir photography. Being a mom doesn’t mean that you are no longer sexy! These photos celebrate you as a mom-to-be and the beautiful changes your body experiences as you wait for your little miracle.
I asked Lissette, my latest beautiful pregnant mom-to-be, if I had permission to blog a couple of her photos and she gave me the go-ahead. She LOVES her photos and doesn’t mind sharing!!! Woohoo!!!

These sessions are done in my studio during the week. I also do shoots on location.
Location shoots are done on the weekend; please allow at least a 2 months in advance booking date for weekend sessions.

So here is the deal ladies…
From now until March 1st I only have 1 weekend available in which I can plan to do a Boudoir Marathon. The weekend is Jan 9-11. I have already opened the date to do a Boudoir Marathon in San Francisco, but I still need a couple of ladies to make it official.
So in all fairness, I am also opening that weekend for a B-pics Marathon in Hot Miami. Whichever coast fills their 8 spots first, that’s where the Marathon will be held. I will reschedule the other coast on a later date. I think is the best way of making sure I accommodate the ladies that really want their sessions on a weekend!!!

Ingrid and Mason Sneak Peak!!!

Passionate and fun!!! They both wanted their session to be spontaneous and fun and that is exactly what they delivered. Ingrid was just gorgeous and Mason was one of the most passionate grooms I have ever met. Ingrid and I found ourselves saying “Keep it PG-13, Mason,” Lol, but you know what, I loved seeing how in love they are. Mason you rocked!!!!

Not even dark clouds in Miami Beach could stop us from shooting their session; sure we had to change locations in the middle of the shoot thanks to the weather, but it was all worth it to have them have an amazing time and fun shoot!
So…guess who is going to JAPAN!!!! No, not me!! :( for now… ;)

What better blog to show you not scary, but the most adorable babies EVER!!!!
These are Studio by Carmen Babies!!! There are a lot of them missing, because this session was a last minute shoot I decided to offer my past clients as a thank you for choosing me to be their photographer. A special thank you is in order to Melanie for organizing this session in only a couple of days and during the week!!!! YOU ROCK GIRL!!!!

It was great to see all my beautiful babies and catching up on how everyone’s doing. I may not have my nephews or niece close to me, but this is the next best feeling by seeing them grow, pinch their cheeks and those gorgeous eyes!!!! ADORABLE!!!!!
Having babies truly changes your life for the better; it may be challenging at time, but not being able to remember life without them is true love.

Vannessa and Eddie’s Engagement!!!

OMG!!!! How can you not love them??? I know I do!!! Their engagement session was just and incredible way of showing me the many facets of whom they are as a couple.
Gorgeous, playful, passionate, fun, in love, silly and so darn cute!!! My kind of couple!

I have been in contact with Vanessa for all the details leading to this day and it was great because it was like we were already friends. From the place to the outfits, accessories and even the look of her make-up everything was perfectly planned. We headed over to Coral Gables, a meaningful place where they shared their first date at Tarpon Bend. The session was pure magic! Their wedding is 8 months away and I can hardly wait to see them again! Did I mention that I am in love with them??? I LOVE MY COUPLES!!!

BTW, to my girls having their engagement sessions and have questions regarding your outfits. Don’t hesitate to ask me. You can even set up an appointment for me to see the outfits in person. I know some of you will really appreciate it!

I had a blast with Miss K. boudoir session yesterday. Love acting silly at times with some props my girls bring from home. I wonder if their fiancés miss them at all. Where is my….??? Lol!!! Poor unsuspected men!!!

Landra + Darren's Jamaican Wedding!!!!!

As I promised, even though I gave one little tease, I have come back with more teasers of Landra and Darren’s wonderful destination wedding in Jamaica!!! As mentioned before we were greeted with love from the moment we met with Landra and she had the best people to celebrate her special day with.
I absolutely LOVED her getting ready as some of her family and friends would come in to say hi and see how she was doing. How was she doing? Cool as a cucumber!!!!
Landra was excited and happy to see how her make up artist enhanced all her beautiful features.
I must say, like a total DIVA, lol, Landra was a little late to their wedding, but you know what, the anticipation was all worth the wait!!!
It was a WOW… moment when Landra tuned the corner to meet Darren.
Their Ceremony and Reception took place at ‘Dunn’s River Falls’ in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We were blown away with the location as it is nestled by such amazing vegetation and waterfalls.
I can not even tell you how many details and do-it yourself projects Landra had at her wedding. I will make sure to do another blog with more of them including a candy buffet, gorgeous cake details, and CD’s for her guests.
A great shout out to Brianna, Landra’s MOH, you were amazing and a terrific best friend always there to her every need. BTW!!! Ladies from New York, Landra and Brianna have a wedding planning company and judging how they planned Landra’s wedding , they do an AMAZING job every time!!!

Thank you Landra and Darren for choosing us to capture your special day, we were treated as part of the family and now you are part of ours.

I had two sexy and super fun Engagement Sessions on Sunday.
There was rain, ice cream, jumps, splits, kisses, hugs, love and most of it sooo many laughs!!!!!
No joking, my face hurt from laughing so much during the day!!!
It reminded me of our wedding day; the muscles on our faces hurt like for 2 straight days. That’s how you know you had the time of your life :)

Wooohooo!!! I am back from Landra and Darren’s Destination Wedding!!!

What a wedding!!!
The tone was set when we were greeted with a big hug and a huge smile when we started photographing Landra’s getting ready and in that moment I knew that feelings would rule their incredible event!
I have already selected all of their photos, sooo many of them :), and now I'm working on selecting their teasers for the blog!
So, am I a tease? Of course!!! I am going to leave you with one photo so you can see how gorgeous they both looked. The weather was a bit rainy, but that didn’t prevent us from having some fun!

I am getting into the swing of things, so please I promise to get done with all the emails as soon as I can.

Destination Weddding in Jamaica!!!

I am on my way to the airport for Landra and Darren’s long awaited Destination Wedding in Jamaica. I know their wedding will be SPECTACULAR!!!! I can’t wait!!! Counting the minutes!
We will be staying a couple of extra days for some TLC!!!

My brothers are always making me look bad in front of my parents!!! Lol.
My older brother already has 2 baby boys and now my other brother has a baby girl to brag about, she is a little angel ;) Well, I have Bella, my beautiful furbaby, (sticking my tong at them!)
My parents hadn’t had a chance to meet baby Audrey and at 4 months, and knowing how fast babies grow, my brother decided to take a trip to Miami from the West coast and surprise my parents.
They were only here 2 days, but my parents loved meeting and playing with her. I was fully committed both days but I was able to go to breakfast with them on one of the days they were here and quickly snatch a few photos when they finished changing her pamper. Lol.
I can’t wait to see her again in December. I can’t believe she will be 7 months!!!
She looks like our side of the family :) and her eyes remind me of princess Jasmine from Disney!!!

Woohooo, Second Shooting!!! Miami Wedding Photography

Thank you so much for the requests I have been receiving to second shoot your weddings!!! ‘If I would have known of you before I booked my photographer!’ I feel flattered to hear those words, and the questions that follows are: can I hire you as my second shooter or part of my wedding? If I am available, I would love to be your second shooter!!! The contract is done directly with the bride and I encourage you talk to your main photographer to see if they feel comfortable with a second shooter. Also as a courtesy too; every photographer has his/her rules about other photographers shooting with them. I don’t let any photographer shoot at my weddings without my consent.

As with all my sessions and events the date is reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Notice I didn’t say more beautiful, because to me a confident woman is a beautiful woman in every aspect.
I have had many brides-to-be sent me emails loving to do a boudoir session, but expressing their concerns at not been at their ideal weight. At the end most ladies decide to surprise their unsuspected fiancés/husbands and go ahead and do their sessions and they end up letting me know that it was an incredible experience for them, ‘feeling like a model’ and after they get their photos they are like ‘Is that me??? And express that is such a self-esteem booster!!! LOVE IT!!!!
Well I was thinking… what if you can have your cake and eat it too!!! Ok, maybe that’s not the best phrase to use, lol, bare with me. To all those ladies that are waiting to be in better shape and missed the opportunity to give your fiancé/husband a sexy present, I say ‘WAIT NO MORE!!!’ Also, for my beautiful ladies that thought that your bodies were not ready, but went ahead and got their sexy photos done with me, I have a nice surprise you can participate on.

So, here is my idea, and please if you have a comment to add please email me!
Ok, so as an incentive to keep that body rocking all year long, I am going to provide free boudoir sessions to those ladies who I have worked with before. You can sign up by sending me an email; tell me a little bit where you are body wise and what are your plans of fitness and nutrition. I will be picking a winner or 2 or maybe 3 a month!!! Open to all states where I host Boudoirs! So, the kicker is that you will not know when your time will be, so it will be essential for you to keep your fitness regimen!!!
So ladies let’s get off our BOOTIES and let’s start exercising and eating right, because your session could be soon!!!!

I totally do not encourage crash diets, pills or starvation. Let’s do it the old fashion way ladies. WE CAN DO IT!!!! The goal is to live happier, healthier lives and although most of us are in the best body shape for our wedding day, let’s not just go back to our bad habits instead, let’s prepare and look forward to the next event in our lives whether it’s professional, family oriented or maybe both.
Remember fitness and nutrition first. Toned curves are the best so pay attention at your body type and embrace the beauty in you!!!

Yesterday night, Jennie came over to select her photos for her boudoir album. SOOO EXCITED!!! Well, we were looking at one of her photos that showed her beautiful fuchsia platform heels and I couldn’t resist and show her my new OH SO AWESOME peep-toe platform heels!! I am in love with them!!! Jennie liked them too and told me to take a photo for my blog; I started to laugh, because I had already taken a photo of them to show you ladies how much you inspired me.
I haven’t bought heels this high in a little while, but oh boy! do I feel extra sexy with them on, besides the fact that I am 5’11” or more with them ;)

I will be having a SEXY boudoir marathon this weekend in my studio. Ladies, I will have Champagne and some other goodies including delicious cupcakes from my friend Kelly from SugarGirlBakeShop. I had them on my last marathon and my ladies couldn’t say enough good things about them!!! I must also admit I ate more than a couple too. Lol.

Maria Fernanda & Swen Destination Wedding!!!

It has taking me forever to pick some of my favs for Maife and Swen’s wedding in gorgeous Ecuador. I first had 160, then 120, then Favs 1, Favs 2 and Details. AHHHH!!!! I will have another blog with some of their beautiful details, seeing as this blog is already a bit lengthy. First I wanted to say that it was a huge complement to have them pick us to be their photographers, especially because Maife is studying to be a photographer herself. We felt no pressure! (Right… Everyone seemed to know that we were the choosen ones!) But I must say it felt so cool for a lot of people to come to us to let us know how excited Maife was to have us shoot her wedding. I can’t deny it WE LOVED IT!!!!!

As I was choosing my favs I saw a Maife for who she was, modern, carefree, so inlove and giving herself to enjoying the moment to the fullest. Even with so many family and friends around them, both of them found a few minutes throughout the day where no one existed but them.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was the toast to the bride and groom. In our South American Countries we have the custom of not just 1 or 2 people toasting but as many as is necessary, needed and wanted policy. They both laughed as they were reminded of funny memories brought to light; but Maife never thought to be so emotional, when one of her best friends got the microphone or when her cousin mentioned her son Mateo in the toast.

Maife and Swen thank you for let us be part of your wedding. We were blown away by you guys, your family and friends and the overall vibe of love and happiness we felt through out the day and were equally impressed by the beauty of the setting where it seemed you were able to reach and touch the clouds.
I wanted to give especial thanks to Juan Carlos, Yani and Sebastian for all your attentions.

We hope to see you guys again soon in one of our trips to the New York or the New England area.

Ok, so Jennie is a sexy mom and bride to be!
If I can have a HOT body like hers and be a mom I would sooooo do it right NOW!!!

Jennie was incredibly confident about her body which is exactly what I LOVE to see from all my girls. She was also super prepared for the shoot (the most prepared to date!); knowing exactly what outfits with what accessories and in what order. LOVED IT!!!

One of my favorite moments about blogging is when I can sit and remember the time we share with our couple during our sessions. The first thing I did as soon as I started writing this was to smile. Jennifer and Jeff are an amazing couple with so much to be happy for. They have been double blessed this year; not only will they be celebrating their marriage, but they will be welcoming their son into the world soon after their wedding!!!! SOOOO HAPPY FOR THEM!!!!
BTW, I must also say, with his parent’s looks, OH BOY! He's going to be gorgeous!!!
With double the celebration I can just imagine how emotional and fun their wedding will be and we are honored to be part of it.

Leslie & Alexis's Wedding!!! Miami Wedding Photography

Clicking immediately with my couples is so important to me… Leslie and Alexis’s wedding was a beautiful event, full of emotion and so much fun!
Leslie is another one of my gorgeous brides that trusted me to capture her amazing day after looking at my work on my blog and having a phone call meeting (talk about a major click!)
After talking to her leading to their wedding day, I discovered that her dad is related and works for Costa Nursery; my dad had worked for them too for 10 years and now Leslie’s dad purchases plants from my dad’s nursery. What a small world!!!!
I called my dad to let him know and he couldn’t believe it! I was super excited to see who I remember from going with my dad to the trade shows and company parties.

Leslie and Alexis did an amazing job planning their wedding. Beautiful details, including a gorgeous hand made veil done by her grandma, stunning orchid centerpieces, beautiful menus, you name it they had it!
Leslie and her mom were super emotional throughout the day and I will never forget when Leslie’s mom said while wiping a tear away, “She is my best friend,” I had an immediate knot on my throat and had to look away before loosing it. I am such a girl, but moments like that are priceless!

Congrats again Leslie and Alexis!!! It was a pleasure capturing your day and I LOOOOVED meeting your family, and thank you for sharing one the most important days of your lives with us.
We haven’t opened our personalized bottle of vine yet; we are saving it for a special occasion 

Tiffany and David's Engagement Session

Tiffany, Tiffany, I had been dying to write this blog and share a little bit of the story that let us to this AMAZING session.
Soooo much fun!!!! Ok so let me get on with it… So our session was schedule for May in Palm Beach. We get there on what seemed 100% humidity; and after a couple of test shoots we had to unfortunately cancel their session. Tiffany’s hair and make-up did not hold up not even 5 minutes under the outdoor conditions. With tears on her eyes we departed, but like I always say “Things happen for a reason” and boy was this saying so true on this circumstance.

We meet up with them a week ago and OH MY!!! We saw David first and we said hi; Tiffany was waiting for us at the bar and when she turned around, my jaw dropped!!! Seriously, time was going in slow motion as she turned around to greet us. Incredible hair and makeup, a total SUPERMODEL!!!! I could not be happier for her!!!
People were stopping to watch the session, but they did not flicker. Oh, and I'm not even going to talk about their chemistry, because it was visible all over, in every smile, every touch and every look.

I can’t wait to share your wedding day with you guys in November!!! It’s going to be a blast!

Lourdes & Charlie's Engagement Session!!

I wanted to start this blog by sharing with you how I got to know Lourdes. Their wedding day is in early November and at the time they first contacted me, I had 2 couples requesting packages for their day. Well, after a couple of emails Lourdes got the day by asking me to send her the contracts for her wedding day, engagement session and bridal shower all without a meeting. Is not the first for us, but every time this happens we are blown away by the level of trust our couples are showing us; we always try to do something special for these amazing couples to reciprocate the love :)

To say the least it was a true pleasure getting to know such a fun couple on such a steamy day. Lourdes had the agenda to make her session a sexy one, but besides the chemistry they had between them; what I saw from their interaction was a more fun couple, full of giggles and pure joy to be close to one another. Thank you guys for sharing time with us and I can not wait to see both of you in November and Lourdes on a couple of weeks at your bridal shower!!!!!

Yesterday afternoon, I got Landra and Darren’s beautiful wedding invitation!!! Love the colors and design!!!
I will be photographing their no doubt beautiful and full of details Destination Wedding in JAMAICA!!!!
I got so excited when I saw the invitation and I wanted to take a couple of photographs right away. I just love it when my brides send me an invitation, because not only do we feel like an invite, but it sets the mood and a little insight for what’s to come!

Back from Ecuador!!! Destination Wedding Photographer

I am back from Quito, Ecuador and I have to say: Maria Fernanda and Swen, What a Wedding!!!!
The wedding took place an hour and a half from the city at their amazing ranch. The setting reminded me so much of our family ranch near Lima-Peru where I was born.
The ranch was surrounded by lushes green mountains, a river and waterfall that made an amazing background sound and clouds that seem as if you could touch them from the ground.
I want to go back!!!!

Destination Wedding in Ecuador!!!

Hi everybody, I’m on my way to South America, Quito, Ecuador to be exact. I’ve been looking forward to this destination wedding for a while and meeting my beautiful couple, Maria Fernanda and Swen. I already know they are gorgeous, because I asked them for a photo, so I could recognize them at the airport. Lol. It is so nice of them to have offered to pick us up at the airport.
I am Peruvian and Favio from Nicaragua, so I know we are going to be enjoying ourselves at the wedding and getting to know another culture and Hello… the food!!!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to take some time to blog about this amazing couple.
I actually had not met Jordan until the day of the wedding, but if Yvonne picked him to be her partner for life, I knew that he would he an amazing person as well.
I had an initial meeting with Yvonne and her dad, because Jordan was finishing his semester at UF (GO GATORS!!!!) Lol. After our initial meeting I knew that they would be a perfect match for our photography style. Laidback, relaxed and a couple that really wanted us to capture the moment as it happened.
Yvonne and Jordan got married in Naples. It had been raining the entire morning and into the early afternoon and I prayed that it would stop raining, so the ceremony could take place outdoors like Yvonne had hoped. Well, by the time I started shooting her getting ready, the sun came out and they had amazing weather!!!
We could not have been happier for them; then again her dad also knew they would have a perfect day.
To say that I loved photographing Yvonne and Jordan’s wedding is an understatement.
Thank you both for sharing your perfect day with us.
Yvonne you are an incredible person and I love your “ya-voy” attitude in life. Do not change it, because you are able to give yourself and enjoy the people and moments of life with happiness.

I hope your 4th of July was safe and not so rainy, I am in Naples to shoot a wedding and I wish the rain would let out for at least a little bit. Either indoors or outdoors, as they had planned, I know Yvonne and Jordan will have the time of their lives.
On another note we went to see Hancock and it was pretty cool. I smell a sequel. Lol. I am going to give it a grade of A-.
I will be back in town tomorrow afternoon for an engagement session. I really hope the forecasters are wrong about tomorrow’s weather as well.

Dinner, Martini and a movie all in one!

One of my best friends recommended Cine Bistro after telling her that I would love to see Sex in the City. I was never a fan until I heard the movie was coming out and Carrie and Big were getting married!!! That’s when I knew I had to catch up with all the seasons. Lol.
So we went to Cine Bisto, were valet is complementary, picked our seats and went to shop for a little bit. You can also call in advance to select your seats and just show up 30 minutes before your movie. Well our show started at 7:00; we showed up at 6:30 and they showed us to our seats and we looked over the menu. I ordered a delish Sex in the City Appletini. We then order dinner, it arrived before the movie and voila it was time for the movie to begin. No one asking me to please move to the next seat, nobody screaming or throwing popcorn over our heads, then it dawn on me, you have to be 21 to get in! Very cool! The seats were comfortable, plenty of legroom and the best part is that I had a place to place my purse other than my lap! The only con for me is probably the price, especially after the Martini and dinner, so next time a Mojito and popcorn. Lol.
I would definitely come back especially for a movie’s opening day. I just love to know that my seat will be waiting for me and I can just relax.

I hope all of you are having a terrific day. The weather was just perfect for a BBQ today for sure. I am about to have dinner with my parents, but I wanted to say Happy Father's Day to my big brothers Felix and Alfredo. Felix lives in New Hampshire and just had his second son a few months back. He is a pro at parenthood now and I couldn't be more proud. I get a smile on my face everytime he tells me all the places he takes my nephews on the weekends. It's great to see that fatherhood has not changed their love for the outdoors; lots of credit to my sister in-law for that too.

Also Happy Father's Day to my brother Alfredo who just became a dad in April!!!! Audrey is so adorable and I loved holding her in my arms. She is tiny and looks exactly like my mom now which is super cute and freaky (in a good way) Lol!!!

Keep on enjoying your evening. I am about to pour me a Bailey's on the rocks. Cheers!!!

Hi everybody, I know I haven’t been keeping up with my blog, but I have been incredibly busy (love it!). I worked on these teasers in the plane last week while traveling, had 2 amazing weddings on the weekend and I am just catching my breath to be able to blog them.

Indira and Ernesto are the total package, passionate, sweet, fun and of course in love!!!!
I have to give props to Ernesto, cause he was just a natural in front of the camera from the very beginning and really pulled Indira to that place where no one else matters and is just them enjoying each other. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love when that happens.

You guys were terrific! Thank you for making the shoot so much fun on 95 degree weather and I can’t wait for your wedding day!!!

I started my morning shooting an engagement session for my beautiful couple Indira and Ernesto; did a little bit of shopping and headed to my mom’s house to celebrate her day!

Candace and Mike's Destination Wedding!!! Destination Wedding Photography

Who wouldn’t want to have a beautiful destination wedding in Miami, right?
Gorgeous weather plus a little wind ;) A day they have both been looking forward to for years, just ask Candace!
I had my first bride-boudoir shoot the day before her wedding!!!! Scandalous, but so much fun!!! Lol. First of all, Candace is one of the sweetest brides I have ever worked with, she ask me if I could please take her boudoir photos the day before the wedding and give her a couple of teasers for her to present to her fiancé the morning of. Well, of course I said yes and Mike didn’t know what hit him. Lol. HE LOVED THEM!!!!!
Candace and Mike wanted to enjoy their wedding and guests to the fullest, so they decided to have an editorial shoot/trash the dress session in New York in the months to come. We can’t wait to go; we are going to have a blast!!!!

Here are just a couple of teasers! And don’t get me started on how emotional the ceremony was. I almost lost it a couple of times when Mike helped wipe a tear from Candace’s cheek and when he kissed her hand, one of my favs ever.

I was soooo happy when Erika contacted me to see if I was available to serve as a second shooter, actually third and fourth shooter, for her wedding. Luckily, I was available!!!!
Erika and Matt had already a primary shooter and family friend and although they liked his style, they also loved ours.
So what to do? Well, Erika and Matt hired us too to be part of their amazing day.
We were there to cover her getting ready, first meet and her ceremony. Of course before I said bye to coordinator-extraordinaire Justine, who was their wedding coordinator, I couldn’t help myself and took a couple of shots of their gorgeous reception.

When I am asked by a bride to be their second shooter, I shoot 100% candid shots and with the understanding that I am not the main photographer, I stay out of the main photographer’s way and cover the bride and groom as their personal photographers. LOVE IT!!!!!

Beautiful city and gorgeous ladies was a great combination for an awesome time and hot photos!!!

I’m back from San Francisco and I can not tell you how much fun I had. The sessions were a blast and I loved meeting such unique beautiful and fun ladies. All my ladies have already received their teasers and some of them have given me permission to share a few. I am not able to share some teasers, because of the kind of jobs some ladies have. Priority #1 for me is to keep you privacy intact.
Thank you ladies again for all your hard work, complements and for the many laughs!!! Did I tell you I had a great time??? ;)

Tomorrow morning is the beginning of my boudoir marathon here in San Francisco!!!
I can’t tell you how excited and moved I am to have been contacted by my SEXY ladies and do their boudoir sessions. All the spots filled out quickly, but don’t worry ladies, this will not be my last visit. I already have two requests for the end of the year, so ‘I’ll be back’ :)
I love San Francisco, well I actually, I love California all together. Great places and amazing weather (ladies imagen, low humidity = beautiful hair.) Sweater at night for me, that’s for sure!!!! Yes, I like to be toastie (Jeff don’t laugh.)
I can’t wait to meet everybody and ladies get ready to work it!

Shooting and eating at the FAIR!!!!

This past weekend I continued my birthday celebration by going to the Dade County Youth Fair!!! First I wanted to thank my loyal stalkers and for all the emails I got regarding the fair shoot. I know it was last minute to get things together for some, but don’t worry, next time I will make sure to plan it better.
So off we went to the fair and what better combination for us to enjoy shooting at the fair and enjoy fair food!!! I missed the fair last year, so believe me, candy apples, elephant ears and cotton candy were calling my name. I am not a super fan of roller coasters, but love the ambiance, that’s for sure.
Thank you Carmen + Marc and Jenny + Robert for joining us, we had a blast!!! I also loved seeing one of my couple to be married at the end of the year Indira and Ernesto and an old friend Kirian. Enjoy a few teasers before I leave out of town.

Opening for a fun couple in love!

I know it's kind of last notice, but I am finally dragging Favio to the Miami Dade Fair Saturday night or Sunday afternoon and I would love to photograph a fun couple.
I wanted to schedule some sessions at the fair this year, but I have been incredible busy.

Four Weddings and a Birthday!!!!!! Miami Wedding Photography

I started celebrating my birthday with four beautiful weddings!!!
Just like last year, a day is in no way or form long enough to go wild, so a whole week celebration was a must and to be fair I am going to try and make it a whole month, (the excuse? I need to work around my events) Ha!!!

I have a rule that if my B-day falls on a weekday except for Friday, then I will spend the day chilling. If it falls on a weekend, then you know what happens, I become a ‘Dancing Queen.’
Cocktails at Blue Martini (Chocolate Martinis a must!) and shaking it to the tune of Calabria at the Martini Bar in South Miami, was just what the doctor ordered. Woowoo!!!

My favorite part of my B-day is when my family gets together to sing Happy Birthday.
It’s really special to have my brothers, who live in other states, call in and all sing Happy-Birthday to me on speakerphone. Call me crazy, but I love it! My nephew Filito was just the funniest; he is almost 3yrs old and wanted to sing to me by himself, but in the last minute got all shy and couldn’t do it. I told my brother to tell him to sing to Bella (my furbaby,) Filito knows her well because I take her every time I visit them. To my surprise he started singing to her, can you believe that!!! We were all laughing so hard!!! After that he was not shy to sing to me and it was one of the sweetest things ever.

Yvette and Herb's Wedding!!! Miami Wedding Photography

Gorgeous wedding!!!!!! I have had the most incredible time photographing all the events leading to Yvette and Herb’s wedding, their engagement, Yvette’s bridal shower (Herb was the bartender) and Yvette’s boudoir session. It was great to share every moment leading up to their emotional ceremony and beautiful reception.
I have so many things to say about their wedding but a will let the photos speak for themselves. Just a little warning, in this wedding they experienced craziness, tears, broken camera (not mine!,) sexiness, heat, surprised by a boudoir, wedding crashers, bathroom fiasco, dancing and above all lots of laughter, happiness and LOVE!!!

Last year, when Cathy and Alex had their engagement session, I knew their wedding day was going to be more than just a union of their love. With perfect weather and a reception near the beach in Hollywood, this was a perfect day for this beautiful couple to join together.

Cathy looked absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love with her wedding dress from ProNovias. I must also comment on Alex's amazing dancing abilities, as he tore up the dance floor during the reception!!!
I added some photos of how the ambiance was for the entire evening. I love all the details, but I wanted to show you how incredibly romantic the reception looked with all the warm lighting surrounding it.

So, I woke up this morning in our hotel and when I looked out through our hotel window we noticed it’s SNOWING so much. Soooo exciting!!!!
I have a shoot tomorrow morning in New Jersey (no not outside, Thank God) and
I will be back in Miami on Sunday morning, hopefully with no delays at the airport.
If some of my friends in NY want to meet up tonight or tomorrow night (Mariana, you know I am calling you girl!); Let me know I am checking my email in case someone needs something urgent. I will respond to all emails Sunday night.
I have a smile blasted on my face and I feel so giddy in the winter wonderland!!!!!
I love NYC!!!

WOW!!! Christy’s Bridal Shower!!!

After several days of rain before this event, Christy had spectacular weather for her Bridal Shower. Can you guess what the theme was? Lol. Love it!!! By the way, I love the last photo of her Charles Davis sexy heels.
From the spectacular candy buffet by Christy and her bridesmaids, to the extra attention to all the details and games, this was an amazing shower and a glimpse of how special their wedding day will be.
Thank you for letting me capture such a special event and I wish you and Mark the best on your special day.

Jackie and Doron’s Engagement Party!!!

Sweet, fun and so inlove are the perfect words to describe both of them.
I first met Jackie and Doron at Valerie and Willy’s wedding. From the moment they introduced themselves I really loved their energy.
Their elegantly planned party was hosted by Jackie’s parents; where the main theme was enjoying family, friends and having plenty of laughs to go around.
One of the moments that stood out that night and put a smile on my face was seeing Jackie and Doron’s immense happiness as they greeted people in; I immediately thought of how those feelings of love and happiness are a glimpse of what it will be like early next year on their wedding day.

Thank you guys for sharing with us your first steps towards your lives together.

I hope everyone is having a great Valentine’s Day ;)
I have spent most of the day reading at all your entries and many of you have brought me to tears with your responses. I anticipated many entries from brides to be, but I was happily surprised to receive just as many entries from married ladies and moms. YOU GO LADIES!!!!
It has been incredibly difficult to select one winner, so I selected a winner and a runner up.

And the sexiest ladies are: Valerie and Erica as a runner up!!!

I wanted to give thanks to all the ladies that participated in the contest, and for thinking about your significant other in such an open and deep way. Valentine’s should not be just about dinner, flowers or gifts, but about letting each other know how the other person makes us feel. I was looking at Rosanne and Joe’s photos to pick some of my favs and I was remembering how much fun they had on their wedding day. From the moment I met this wonderful couple for their Rocking Engagement session I knew their wedding would reflect their personalities and chemistry. They were both nervous with anticipation before the ceremony, but right after it started it was time to let loose and enjoy themselves and their guests, and boy did they ever!!! They rocked the night away and the dance floor was always full thanks to the incredible band they had playing. Thank you guys for the amazing day we got to share with you. Nancy and Harold’s Engagement Session!!!

I met Nancy and Harold in Miami Beach for their long awaited session. Unfortunately, the weather was not the greatest by the end of our session, but I was able to capture some really sweet moments between the both of them.
Nancy gave me an amazing complement by thanking me for the experience and letting me know that she got emotional during the session when Harold looked at her and told her how much he loved her.
As she was telling me that, I got the chills of happiness for them; sometimes because of our everyday lives, we forget to look into each others eyes and express our feelings for one another. Well, they both did a great job at reconnecting and I could not have been happier to be there to capture their feelings. Thank you guys!!!

Angie’s Bridal Shower!!!

Angie had her bridal shower at La Palma Restaurant in Coral Gables. The location was beautiful and she did a great job organizing her shower with her bridesmaids. Angie, I love the centerpieces and linens.
For all the girls looking for fun games check out the bubble gum game. Angie was asked a list of questions about her fiancé and if she got one wrong she had to chew on a piece of gum, adding pieces as she missed questions. So how many questions do you think she missed? Check out the photos. Lol!!!
Everyone had a great time celebrating Angie’s shower and talking about her upcoming wedding.

Barbara & Frank's Wedding!!! Miami Wedding Photography

Before I started to write about this incredible couple; I didn’t know how I was going to be able to convey the feelings I had at their wedding. To me it was beyond love, happiness and tenderness. It was a combination of so many feelings that made this wedding an incredible event.

Barbara has been blessed to find love for the last time with Frank and it was an emotional day not only for both of them, but also for Barbara’s beautiful daughters Elizabeth and Adriana, who in a sense are entrusting their mom to Frank and also receiving a second dad.

Thank you for making us feel like guests at your amazing celebration and for making our photography so enjoyable by expressing the love you feel for one another.
